Immediate work is usually available with St. Nicks Human Support Corp. for applicants who are certified as Home Health Aides or Personal Care Aides.
Free training leading to certification is offered. All home attendants become part of 1199 SEIU and most qualify for medical insurance and other union benefits.
Jobs are available in many North Brooklyn communities including Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Fort Green and Sunset Park.

If you want to inquire about a job with the Youth & Education division, St. Nicks is interested in talking to you! Previous experience and a desire to work with young people is necessary Jobs are available in many schools in Williamsburg and Greenpoint.
Interviews are conducted in a group format. All applicants will be required to plan and implement a fun, engaging and age appropriate activity lesson in front of students as part of the application process. Before beginning work, applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared through the New York State Central Registry as well as participate in mandatory 35-hour training.
