St. Nicks Alliance Workforce Development seeks the following staff:

Case Manager – Court Advocate - St. Nicks Alliance is currently seeking a Case Manager/Court Advocate for its Fatherhood Program. Candidates will provide case management services and group facilitation to fatherhood program applicants (non custodial parent) including advocacy concerning child support cases. Responsibilities include: managing a caseload of 75-100 clients; conducting outreach, orientation, intake and assessments; developing individualized service plans and formulating action plans to facilitate and monitor the progress of clients towards accessing needed services and reaching their employment goals. Case Managers will identify community resources and create linkages to resources to ensure that any barriers to program participation, job achievement, retention or achievement of program goals are addressed and minimized; and provide counsel and advocacy concerning child support and family court cases. Other responsibilities include follow-up, timely record keeping and quality assurance for compliance with the requirements of various funding sources.

Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required; must have strong communication, writing and computer skills; ability to facilitate in group settings. Experience working with low-income jobseekers; familiarity with issues pertaining to child support, paternity, visitation, custody, and other family court matters; proven ability to work as part of a team; ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Fluency in English/Spanish helpful.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Registered Nurse for ALP
Established community organization seeks RN for new Assisted Living Program in Brooklyn.  Assess potential residents for required guidelines, schedule and supervise PCAs, coordinate services of CHHA, supervise medication regimens, assure Quality Improvement policies and procedures are followed.  RN with ALP experience required.  Salary commensurate with experience, in the 60-75K range.

Home Health or Personal Care Aides
Immediate work is usually available with St. Nicks Alliance Homecare for applicants who are certified as Home Health Aides or Personal Care Aides.

Free training leading to certification is offered. All home attendants become part of 1199 SEIU and most qualify for medical insurance and other union benefits.

St. Nicks Alliance Youth & Education

St. Nicks' Division of Youth & Education serves 2,500 youth through afterschool, summer, school-based, and internship programs as well as two Beacon community centers.  We are seeking individuals for the below positions. 

Afterschool Staff (various part-time positions) will be responsible for planning and implementing social, recreational, and educational activities for children ages 5 to 14 (depending on site).  Requirements: ability to work in interdisciplinary team, good decision-making and crisis intervention skills.
